A Warm Welcome to Sundance House

We are a specialist service offering a range of mental health services to support adults, young people and children who are experiencing difficulties that are impacting on their emotional wellbeing and quality of life.

We also offer therapy and support to the families and care-givers who are fundamental in promoting recovery while looking after their own mental health needs.

Our Services Include:

• Assessment, formulation and therapeutic services for a range of mental health presentations

• Evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Trauma-focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Brainspotting, Systemic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

• Gold Standard Assessment and Diagnostic Service (in keeping with NICE guidelines) for a range of neurodevelopmental conditions (Adults and Children):

• Family Assessments and Systemic Family Therapy

• Systemic Family Therapy to support diagnosis, family relations and understanding

• Individual Parenting Sessions to support diagnosis, anxiety, low-mood, phobias, self-harm, behaviours of concern and child and adolescent development

• School Observations to facilitate assessment and diagnosis and to recommend strategies to support young people in the educational environment

• Supporting Insurance Companies with Psychological Assessment following adversity

• Groups, Training Sessions and Workshops for a range of mental health presentations for young people, parents, schools and colleges

• School Consultations, staff mentoring and a variety of in-house training packages for students and teaching staff
